Overview of the Business

This brief is for the redesign of Obodo Gym’s website. Obodo is a Cork-based functional fitness gym operating for 14 years, built on community, coaching quality, and real, sustainable training. With classes like CrossFit, Evolve, Revelate, Hyrox and Strong the gym supports people at every stage of their fitness journey.
The purpose of the new website is to present Obodo clearly and professionally, helping new visitors understand what we offer and making it easy for them to book a trial, choose a package, or learn more about the community.


Type of Site:

The website will be a brochure-style site with light blog elements but also able to book classes through the site. Its goal is to inform, guide, and convert visitors through clear navigation, structured content, and a strong sense of brand identity.

  • Increase trial-class sign-ups through strong calls-to-action.
  • Convert trial users into PAYG or membership customers.
  • Showcase Obodo’s class offering and coaching quality.

Parents

Seeking flexible training that fits around life, family, and work. They will visit to view timetables, packages, and the general feel of the gym.

Beginners / Returners

Those wanting a safe, no judgement space to ease back into training. They will look for reassurance, class explanations, and trial offers.

Current Members

May use the site for updates, class descriptions, event information, or booking links.

Clean layout, easy navigation, and a professional look. Their structure (“About / Classes / Membership”) is simple and effective.

T12 CrossFit

Strong community focus, great use of real member imagery, and clear CTAs. Their coaching-team page builds trust and personality.

Echo Athletics

Straightforward and modern. Their clear trial options, simple messaging, and structured page layout create an excellent user experience.
